A dedicated selection committee has been established for the 2024 Inner West Art Fair, ensuring a diverse representation of artists, styles, and offerings that resonate with the Inner West Art Fair's commitment to inclusivity.

We are thrilled to introduce and showcase this year's esteemed selection committee:

JULIA BEVIS – Founder and Director of Inner West Art Fair

Julia is not only a distinguished Artist and Creative Director but also a visionary force shaping the artistic landscape.

From her Spotswood studio, Julia intricately explores the significance of place, weaving seamlessly between urban spaces and the untouched beauty of nature.

Beyond her art, Julia pioneered the 2023 Inner West Art Fair, a groundbreaking, commission-free event she directed and founded. The inaugural event featured 29 artists at The Substation, reflecting Julia's commitment to grassroots art and the joy it brings.

Reflecting on her vision, Julia emphasizes, “It has always been important for me to create an opportunity to exhibit art at its grassroots and have fun along the way. In my belief, the quality of art is enhanced when you’re having fun.”.

KRISTY TULL

Renowned as a concrete artist, Kristy is the creative force behind the highly regarded brand, Fox & Ramona. Established in 2013, her venture has not only made waves in the art community but has also gained recognition on prestigious platforms such as The Design Files. As a seasoned concrete art teacher, Kristy imparts her skills and passion to aspiring artists, contributing to the flourishing art scene in the Inner West.

As the Founder and Director of Fox and Ramona, Kristy brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of artistic expression to the Inner West Art Fair selection committee, ensuring a thoughtful curation that aligns with the event's inclusivity policy.

ANGELA SIMONS

Angela is CEO of Renew Australia and has led consultation, project development, and management teams since 2015; promoting the creative industries and capacity building entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Angela engages a broad subset of stakeholders, across the arts and property sectors from big cities and small regional towns. 

Angela is an integral member in of the Inner West Art Fair team having been behind the initial stages of the fair with the mentorship and strategy direction for its growth. 

Angela will be a part of this year’s selection committee bringing her wealth of knowledge in the arts to enhance the growth of Inner West Art Fair.
