The Inner West Art Fair is making its triumphant return for its second year! Get ready for a captivating experience set against the backdrop of The Substation from November 22nd to 24th, 2024.

Following an immensely successful debut, where 29 talented artists collectively sold over $75,000 worth of their unique creations in just three days, the fair is gearing up for an even more remarkable showcase. Beyond the impressive sales figures, the event forged countless commissions, leads, and connections for participating artists, elevating their profiles and careers.

The inaugural fair drew a diverse crowd of over 900 patrons, including local residents, art enthusiasts from near and far, dignitaries, and even garnered a special mention in parliament. Undoubtedly, it left an indelible mark on the local community and solidified its significance for both artists and The Substation.

With a commitment to sustainability and a primary focus on supporting local businesses, the Inner West Art Fair promises a ripple effect that extends far beyond its three-day duration. This year's ambitious goals include featuring 40 artists, 10 musicians, and a plethora of interactive activities catering to all ages. Moreover, we are aiming for 15 local businesses to contribute to creating an even more vibrant and enriching experience.

Unlike traditional art fairs, we have made a deliberate decision not to take any commission from the artist’s sales, to ensure that they receive the full benefits of their hard work. However, to bring this ambitious vision to life, we are seeking the generous support of local Hobsons Bay businesses as sponsors.
