TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 – APPLICATION

  • Expression of Interest now open! Please apply if you wish to be added to the 2026 exhibiting artists waitlist.

  • All information in the application must be true. Incorrect information may make applications ineligible and the Artist/s may be held responsible for any loss caused to the organiser.

  • It is free to apply. 

2 – ELIGIBILITY

  • All Artists must be living and working in Australia.

  • All Artists must be available for bump in, open hours and bump out.

  • All Artists must present a selection of three works.

3 – ARTIST RESPONSIBILITY

  • Artists must ensure they can meet all the Terms and Conditions before submitting an application.

  • If selected the Artist agrees to take out and maintain public liability insurance with a reputable insurer to the amount of not less than $10 million to cover the fair and must provide a certificate of currency of such insurance to the organiser no later than 2 weeks before Inner West Art Fair 2025.

  • The Artist agrees to promote and share the Inner West Art Fair to their community such as family, friends, colleagues and social media.

  • The Artists agrees their artwork must be available for the duration of the fair.

  • Artists agree that:

    • The artwork is their sole original work

    • The Artist has the power to grant the rights under the artwork

    • The Artist has obtained any appropriate releases, including locations, collaborators, and/or performers.

    • The Artist is entitled to reproduce any rights in the artwork.

    • The Artist will compensate the organiser against any loss resulting from the breach of these promises

    • All Artists are responsible for the sales of their artworks and the Inner West Art Fair does not take a percentage cut from any sale of artwork during the fair. 

4 – INNER WEST ART FAIR CONDITIONS

  • All artworks selected for the fair remain the property of the Artist.

  • The Artist is responsible for the packaging and transportation of the artwork to and from the Inner West Art Fair within the time period set.

  • The final layout of the Fair is determined by the Inner West Art Fair team. All efforts of site specific preferences will be considered, but may not be accommodated.

  • The Artist is responsible for setting up their studio during the bump into the layout they desire within the bump in time frame.

  • All Artists are required to pack down their studio during the bump out time frame.

  • The Artist is responsible for providing the equipment required to display the artworks.

  • All artworks and supplied equipment must comply with OH&S standards.

  • Inner West Art Fair will not be responsible for artworks not collected within bump out.

5 – USE OF IMAGES

  • The Artist will include with their application a high-resolution image of the entered work.

  • It is recognised that authorship and copyright of works entered belong to the Artist.

  • If selected, the Artist gives permission for Inner West Art Fair to use:

    • Images of artworks;

    • Their name, biographical details, and likeness for marketing purposes;

    • The Artist will be attributed to the work as reasonably possible wherever the image is reproduced.

6 – SELECTION

  • Decisions for selections are final and appeals will not be considered.

  • Inner West Art Fair reserves the right to accept or reject any artworks proposed.

7 – FEES

  • The prices are as below:

    • 3m studio = $1740 +GST

      4m studio = $1980 +GST

      5m studio = $2220 +GST

      6m Studio / collective = $2850 +GST

      Ceramics / Pottery Studio = $1140 + GST

  • All artists have access to a storage room for extra art pieces if they wish.

  • Once selected, the Artist is required to pay a non refundable 50% deposit within 7 days of notification to secure their studio.

  • The remaining 50% fee is required no later than 6 weeks prior to fair opening.
